It seems like almost every year there's a rescue operation to save someone's boat that has broken free of its shackles. The one in the picture was a particularly juicy prize, a big Doral.

Lucky for the owner, the boat came to rest on a silty/sandy bottom. It could have been much worse. The owners got the boat freed but with some difficulty.
